Now Hiring - Representative, Customer Sales & Success-SureMove in Richmond, VA

The SureMove Customer Sales & Success Representative is a revenue generating position responsible for generating gross profit in excess of $3 million annually as part of a team. The positions' primary responsibility is to manage effective relationships with customers to ensure safe transport of their household goods from start to finish as well as to find new business opportunities with new customers.

• Support the SureMove customer by promptly responding to customer inquiries via telephone and email
• Responsible for securing SureMove shipments and helping to grow that segment of the business
• Assist SureMove customers with any questions including, but not limited to: new rate requests, contract inquiries, tracking and tracing, pricing/claims disputes, and any other general SureMove policy questions
• Negotiate pricing and/or upsell services with customer to secure business with SureMove
• Convey accurate shipment information to SureMove’s operations team in a timely manner
• Cold call customers not currently utilizing Estes’ SureMove services to gain new business and/or re-establish third party customer relationships. Contact third party customers on a regular basis to ensure account relationship effectiveness
• Collaborate with SureMove operations team to resolve customer issues / problems (e.g. tracing, coverage, scheduling pickups, resolving invoicing errors, etc.). Research and make recommendations for improvements to ensure customer satisfaction
• Manage and maintain all customer file records on Customer Resource Management tool
• Provide administrative and analytical support as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED) or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of Sales experience required
• Moving or Freight industry experience or previous inside/outside sales experience preferred
• Must be well organized with strong attention to detail
• Good computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal, listening and written communication skills required.
• Must be able to interact positively with both internal & external customers and be able to collaborate in a team environment
• Must be able to set, pursue & attain goals, regardless of obstacles or circumstances and must be able to effectively manage adversity
• Must possess good organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and complete tasks within a given time frame
• Must be accountable and self-directed
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job

• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
• Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
